Lipton Tea 250

May 1, 2009

· TESTING, TESTING 123…

Brian Scott has never raced at Richmond International Raceway (RIR), though he has logged laps there in test sessions with his Camping World Truck Series team in 2007 and 2008. In preparation for this weekend’s Lipton Tea 250 at RIR, Scott and the No. 10 Great Clips team, will journey to Mobile, Ala. on Wednesday to test at Mobile Speedway.

· TWO GREAT CLIPS CAMRYS ON THE TRACK THIS WEEEKND

Two Great Clips Camrys will take to the track at Richmond International Raceway in this weekend’s Nationwide Series race. Jason Leffler will drive the black No. 38 Camry while Scott’s No. 10 Camry will feature a primarily red paint scheme.

· WHAT’S UP NEXT FOR SCOTT?

This weekend’s Lipton Tea 250 will mark Scott’s third career NNS start. In his NNS debut at Nashville Superspeedway, Scott started 24th and finished 25th. Two weeks ago at Phoenix International Raceway, Scott posted an impressive 15th place finish after starting 23rd. In addition to Friday night’s race at RIR, he will run next week’s event at Darlington Raceway.

SCOTT ON RACING AT RICHMOND

“I’m looking forward to another Nationwide Series race this weekend with Braun Racing in the No. 10 Great Clips Camry. Coming off of a third-place finish at Kansas Speedway in the truck, I hope to carry that momentum with me onto the short-track. I haven’t raced at Richmond before, but I do have some seat-time there in testing with my Camping World Truck Series team over the last couple of years. We are going to Mobile Speedway on Wednesday to run some laps in the same car we will be putting on the track on Friday, which I think will be an added advantage for me from a confidence standpoint.”

EQUIPMENT INFORMATION

The No. 10 Great Clips team will unload chassis # 33 in this weekend’s Lipton Tea 250 at Richmond International Raceway. Chassis No. 33, nicknamed “Golden Child,” was last on track at Texas Motor Speedway where David Reutimann posted a ninth place finish. Kyle Busch drove “Golden Child” to victory lane last May at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.
