The Hartford Invites Fans to Be Part of Clint Bowyer’s 30th Birthday Celebration

Fans can now sign NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer’s birthday card at www.TheHartfordRacing.com

HARTFORD, Conn., May 28, 2009 – The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc., (NYSE: HIG), one of the nation’s largest diversified financial services companies and proud sponsor of Richard Childress Racing and the No. 33 Chevrolet is inviting fans to take part in Clint Bowyer’s birthday celebration. Fans can now go online to http://www.thehartfordracing.com/ and sign a birthday card that will be presented to Bowyer along with a special cake, in honor of his 30th birthday this weekend at the Dover (Del.) International Speedway.

The Hartford will be with Bowyer throughout his birthday weekend as the company will be the primary sponsor of the No. 33 Chevrolet for the first time this season.

“What better way to kick-off our first primary sponsorship of the season than with Clint’s 30th birthday weekend,” said Michael Concannon, senior vice president, The Hartford. “We wanted to reach out to Clint’s fans so they can join us in the celebration. Fans can go to http://www.thehartfordracing.com/ all week until Saturday, May 30 at 11:59 p.m. (ET) and grant Bowyer birthday well wishes. The Hartford will present the personalized card to Bowyer at a special event Sunday morning prior to the Austism Speaks 400, presented by Heluva Good!
