- Eric McClure started the event in the 42nd position after crashing his primary car during qualifying, but battled his way through the field to finish 23rd.

- McClure will be attempting his 90th career NASCAR Nationwide Series start this weekend in the running of the Kroger 200.
- The 30-year-old has two previous starts on the .686 mile oval. He has a best start of 35th (2007) and finish of 27th (2008).

“I think it’s good that we’re running two cars this weekend. When I came to RHR the intention was for it to be a two-car team with Bobby Jr, but it hasn’t worked out before now. I hope we can get to where it’s full time. The knowledge he has can help me as well as the team, and we would have double the resources and information with them being at the track each week and that would make the whole operation stronger. Hopefully, we can get to that point.”
“I like racing at ORP; it’s a great short track. With the series going to a couple of places I’ve not been before, it’s crucial for us to have a good run and try to get some momentum. We lost another car this week that has been good for us, so hopefully we can get this car dialed in on Saturday and have a great race.”
