· This weekend’s race at Chicagoland Speedway will mark Brad Sweet’s second career ARCA RE/MAX Series start. He made his debut at Kentucky Speedway in the No. 90 Great Clips Toyota Camry for Stringer Motorsports, starting eighth and finishing 16th.
· Sweet is a development driver for Kasey Kahne Racing and has made a name for himself racing USAC Midgets and Sprint cars over the last couple of years. He has logged wins at some of the most prestigious USAC events including the Belleville Midget Nationals, the Knoxville Midget Nationals and the Sprint Car “Four Crown Nationals” at Eldora Speedway. Most recently, Sweet most recently captured a win at Salem Speedway, breaking Ryan Newman’s 30-lap USAC Midget track record.
Sweet Looking Forward to Racing at Chicagoland Speedway
I’m looking forward to climbing back in the Great Clips Toyota this weekend and seeing what we can do. I have one race already under my belt with this team and I feel good about what we accomplished on that first weekend. I expect an even better showing here at Chicagoland Speedway and am looking for a strong top-10 finish. If we can run a competitive race, stay out of trouble and finish on the lead lap we should have no problems doing that.”
