All-Time Owner Champ Clement Parks Famous 46 Car
Caught in the Catchfence™No human in ARCA RE/MAX Series history has earned as many car owner championships as Iowan Larry Clement. In fact, Clement, who fields the familiar no. 46 Ford, hasn’t missed an ARCA RE/MAX Series race since October, 1994. However, according to Clement, that will change starting with this Sunday’s Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200 presented by Federated Car Care at Salem Speedway.
“Stine Seed, our biggest sponsor last year, recommitted this year, but we weren’t able to complete the sponsor package.” Clement said. “Stine worked very hard to make the program successful.”
Clement earned an all-time record nine ARCA RE/MAX Series car owner championships over 10 seasons with veteran Frank Kimmel at the helm, including eight consecutive (2000-2008). His string of 314 consecutive starts reaches back 16 consecutive seasons during which he won 75 times with Kimmel, Bob Hill, and most recently, Matt Carter driving in 2008.
