TheRacingMom.com Changes Name to TheRacingGal.com
Press ReleaseChange reflects diversity of women who participate on website

Women of all ages and demographics have joined TheRacingMom.com community since the site launched in February. Victoria Lane, a pseudonym for a female race insider who works in motorsports marketing and blogs on the site, felt it was time to change the website’s name to reflect the diversity of its users.
“I started this site for racing moms and it’s exciting that the broader community of female race fans enjoyed TheRacingMom.com,” said Lane. “I want all women fans of motorsports, moms or not, to know that this site is for them. From now on, you can call me The Racing Gal.”
The website draws female race fans with photo caption contests, Q&A sessions, recipe contests and posts features on women in racing. Krissie Newman, Danielle Frye, Donna Labonte and others have all been interviewed on TheRacingGal.com. The site recently added Track Facts and Drivers Meeting features, which aim to give the fans an insider’s look into each week’s race.
TheRacingGal.com is sponsored by General Mills, which has been a racing sponsor for 12 years. Women of racing can join the fun by visiting http://www.TheRacingGal.com/. Follow Victoria Lane on Twitter at www.twitter.com/TheRacingGal.
