Tim Richmond Memorial 200 Lends A Helping Hand
Press Release
Advertisment

Mansfield Motorsports Park has hired local policemen for security on race day for many years. The upcoming Tim Richmond Memorial ARCA/REMAX 200 presented by National Speed Sport News will continue the tradition but with a bit of a humanitarian twist. The security force will include all eight laid-off Mansfield police officers.

“It may just be one weekend’s work but I’m sure it will help put food on the table for some of our finest in their time of need” stated track owner Mike Dzurilla. The racetrack plans on utilizing this program at all their events until the City of Mansfield hires back their police officers.

If the gentleman singing the National Anthem at the Tim Richmond Memorial 200 looks familiar it could be that you have met him before especially if you were caught speeding through town. The fellow with the golden voice is none other than Mansfield police officer Bill Clemens.
