Parker Kligerman Mansfield Motorsports Park Post Race Report
Press ReleaseGeneral Manager Mark Gibson stated, “We had another great weekend at Mansfield. Parker is doing a fantastic job, and I can’t say enough about Hal Martin. Hal did a wonderful job staying in the top ten all night. Hal used up his brakes there at the end but overall I was extremely happy and impressed with Hal. Our teams are really working well together, and the results are finally showing.
“The results didn’t show my run on this weekend, I learned a lot and just got caught up in someone else’s mess. It is unfortunate but I am really proud of the Cunningham Motorsports gang. I appreciate all the hard work the team did in preparing a great race car for my first outing in the series,” said Martin.
Kligerman is leading the point’s championship heading to Iowa in July 11. This is the third victory of the year for the Connecticut native. “This has been a pretty crazy weekend,” said Kligerman, who led the final 103 laps of the 202 lap race. “Twenty-four hours ago I was running through an airport trying to catch an airplane following my high school graduation (Staples High School/Westport, Connecticut). I think I still have my diploma sitting on the front seat of my passenger car in the parking lot. This team is successful because we are prepared week in and week out. We unload and are very close to where we are going to race, “said Parker.
