Grant Enfinger of Fairhope is making the most of a limited number of starts this season in the ARCA Series.

The Alabama driver finished second on Friday night in the Ansell Cut Protection 150 at Chicagoland Speedway and came up just short of race winner Justin Lofton at the checkered flag after a last-lap restart.

“I felt like we had the fastest car and it took us 100 laps to do it but I think we proved it tonight,” said Enfinger. “I’ve never been so disappointed in my life. Our car was definitely fastest tonight, unlike at Kentucky where we battled side-by-side for the lead but the cars were pretty much even. I can’t even begin to tell you how difficult it was running in tenth towards the beginning of the race. We should have qualified better but we didn’t so we had to work our way up through the field. That’s tricky because there is a lot of action out there.”
