Danica Patrick is making an announcement on Good Morning America Monday, and it could be that she plans to race in the ARCA season opener at Daytona International Speedway in February. And if that’s true, she will certainly be at Daytona for the ARCA test December 18-20. That would get her superspeedway experience required by the sanctioning body to run in February. GoDaddy.com, her current IRL sponsor, would also sponsor that effort.

So what car? It could be a Bobby Gerhart ride — the former Daytona winner is bringing at least three Chevrolets to rent out to other drivers for the December test. It could also be Cunningham Motorsports, in the ride vacated by Parker Kligerman. Or it could be an Eddie Sharp car, or an Andy Hillenburg car — the only guess in that area is that it might not be a Toyota, since her IRL ride is powered by arch-enemy Honda.
