Suspended Roush Fenway Racing crew member resigns

Roush Fenway Racing says Ben Williams, who was suspended by NASCAR last week for violating its substance-abuse policy, has resigned and is no longer with the team.

Williams served as gas man on Roush Fenway’s No. 16 NASCAR Nationwide Series team, but a team spokesperson said he has resigned. The team had no other comment.
