Brian Vickers on Dover International Speedway:

“Dover is another track that takes me back to 2003. We got one of our three wins there that season. The track is a ton of fun to race. It’s so tight – like a one-mile Bristol with the concrete surface and steep banking. And it’s a self-cleaning race track so you have to stay on your toes when a wreck does happen. You can run low, high or anywhere on the track that you need to make the car work. It always proves to be good racing at Dover!”

Equipment Information:

The No. 32 Dollar General team will compete with chassis #BR024 in Saturday’s Heluva Good! 200 at Dover International Speedway. Chassis #24 was last seen at Darlington Raceway where Vickers finished in the 10th spot.

Did You Know…?

Off-track antics…Vickers’ R&R was cut short this week when the Coca-Cola 600 was delayed until Monday afternoon due to relentless rains in the Charlotte area. On Wednesday Vickers will test at Virginia International Raceway with the Red Bull Racing Team.

Up Next for the No. 32 Dollar General team… Vickers will turn the wheel of the No. 32 Toyota Camry back over to Burney Lamar for the events following Dover: Nashville Superspeedway, Kentucky Speedway and The Milwaukee Mile. Vickers will return for the Camping World RV Sales 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway at the end of June. He will also pilot the No. 32 at Daytona International Speedway and Chicagoland Speedway in July.
