In honor of their first Father’s Day, NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers Burney Lamar and Michael McDowell squared off in a diaper-changing contest Saturday at the Milwaukee Mile.

Yes, a diaper-changing contest. No, Ciel Taylor Lamar and Trace McDowell – McNugget, as he is know – were not participants.

Their fathers simply used baby dolls dressed in a Toyota onesie – since both drive a Toyota. Their fathers, that is.

The contest was the brainchild of Lamar’s public relations representative, Jody Jennings, who also invited McDowell since he’s a new father.

Like the racers they are, McDowell and Lamar tried for any advantage they could get, from McDowell opening up a diaper before the contest started to Lamar spreading out a Dollar General towel on a table to act as a “changing pad.”
