AT NEW HAMPSHIRE MOTOR SPEEDWAY, JUNE 27, 2009,

· Mike Bliss led once for three laps to earn WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in today’s Camping World RV Sales 200. Bliss captured the honor for the FOURTH time this season. Bliss has led five times for 108 laps this season.

· Bliss scored a fourth-place finish in today’s race, his third top-five and eighth top-10. UNOFFICIALLY he is sixth in the NASCAR Nationwide Series championship standings, 130 points behind fifth-place Joey Logano and 46 ahead of seventh-place Justin Allgaier.

· Bliss leads Kenny Wallace by two races (4-2) for the lead in the overall WIX Filters Lap Leader standings.

· BLISS QUOTES: THE GAMBLE TO NOT PIT AT THE END OF THE RACE ALMOST PAID OFF. “I wasn’t too sure what was going to happen there. I didn’t think I could hold ‘em off but I started staying with ‘em for a while but then our tires started wearing out and it started getting tight and sliding around. Then it was just defense.”

YOU RAN AROUND 10TH-PLACE ALL DAY SO THAT MOVE GAINED YOU A FEW POSITIONS.

“It was very hard to pass so that showed you right there track position is more than tires. It’s very hard to pass.”

“Well I don’t know if it was fuel that we they’re problem. It was more tires. They came in I guess for just right sides and fuel but I don’t think fuel was an issue for anybody.”

THIS WAS ANOTHER GOOD RUN FOR YOU. YOU MUST BE HAPPY.

“I am. We just need some consistent runs again and then just try to keep knocking on the door.”
