Mother Nature took a hit at the series, as the rains came right as there was only two drivers remaining for qualifying, but once the track was dried, and sacrificing NASCAR Sprint Cup Series qualifying, the two drivers completed their runs, and qualifying didn’t have to be set by owner points.
Sharing the front row with Bowyer, and with a speed of 180.133mph, is David Ragan, who will be followed by Kevin Harvick (179.752) in third, Brad Keselowski (179.544) fourth, David Gilliland (179.454) fifth, Matt Kenseth (179.440) sixth, the Earnhardt half-brothers, Dale Earnhardt Jr. (179.440 – seventh) and Kerry Earnhardt (179.272- eighth) will share row four together, while Raybestos Rookie contender Michael Annett (179.169) will start ninth and Morgan Shepherd (179.169) rounds out the top-10 starters.
Failing to qualify: #91 Terry Cook; #26 Brian Keselowski and #0 Mike Wallace.
