Bowyer gets first plate win
Caught in the Catchfence™The Subway Jalapeno 250 Nationwide Series race at Daytona International Speedway went into overtime, but it wasn’t quite the typical green/white/checker finish. It was more like a green/white/yellow/checker finish, as the late laps of the race were caution filled.
“People got their money’s worth tonight,” race winner Clint Bowyer said in victory lane. “It was a great race.
That was perhaps at least partly due to double-file restarts throughout the race, a first for the Nationwide Series.
