· Trevor Bayne led once for 34 laps to earn WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in tonight’s Kroger 200. This is the first time Bayne has led in seven NASCAR Nationwide Series starts. He became the 10th different driver to capture the WIX Filters Lap Leader Award this season.
· Bayne scored a seventh-place finish in tonight’s race, his first top-10. His best previous effort was 12th-place earlier this season at Kentucky Speedway (race No. 14).
· Bayne WON the pole for tonight’s race, his first pole position. His best previous start was second-place earlier this season at Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway (race No. 13).
· Mike Bliss leads Kenny Wallace by two races (5-3) in the overall WIX Filters Lap Leader standings.

“Well it was at the beginning and then got spun under caution. What do you do about that? We had a good comeback. It could have ended up a lot worse after that. We went all the way to the back and came back to like 10th or 11th and it’s really hard to pass here. Everybody is so even once you get up there in the top-10 it’s hard to pass. The track gets slick on the bottom. When you’re out front you can just ride and cruise on but you’ve got to drive your stuff so hard it just wears it out coming from the back. This Aaron’s Dream Machine was good all night long. I had the pole, first pole and I was stoked about that and led a bunch of laps so that was pretty cool.”
COMMENT ON LEADING THE RACE.
“Awesome, man, it was fun. Like I said it was like a Saturday cruise.&n bsp; You’re just cruising around riding and I don’t know how we were pulling away like that but I guess it was just taking out stuff so easy and clean air is huge here. We had to work on the car and adjust it once we were at the back to be able to pass. I think if we had been up front we’d have been okay but oh well.”
