Advertisment

Who knows what to expect when the Nationwide Series travels to Iowa Speedway for Saturday’s U.S. Cellular 250? It’ll be the first visit to the new track for the Nationwide Series. While there will be a lot of unknowns, crowds are expected to flock to the new racetrack, with a crowd expected to set a new record for race attendance in the state of Iowa.

This weekend’s race will be another stand-alone race for the Nationwide Series, so series regulars will get an opportunity to shine. Also, the U.S. Cellular 350 is one of Nationwide’s Dash 4 Cash events, where a Nationwide Series regular has an opportunity to pocket an extra $75,000 should he win the event.

“Nobody has previous notes to go by and not a lot of the drivers have raced here before,” Jason Keller said. “There’s $75,000 up for grabs with this being a Dash 4 Cash race and I’d say it’s up for anyone to take.” - Full Story by Amanda Vincent – Louisville NASCAR Examiner
