Justin Marks

Notes of Interest:

· Marks returns to Montreal: Justin Marks made his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut last year with Braun Racing at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. He qualified the Toyota Camry 13th and while running inside the top-10, succumbed to a transmission problem, relegating him to a 33rd-place finish.

· No stranger to right-hand turns: Marks has extensive road course experience under his belt. This season he is driving in the Grand-Am Rolex Series GT class and was a member of the winning team in the 2009 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. Marks and teammate, Andy Lally, have clinched three top-five and six top-10 finishes. Additional experience includes racing sports cars in the SCCA World Challenge, the American Le Mans Series and the KONI Challenge Series.

· Future Electronics returns with Marks: Joining Marks in the NAPA Auto Parts 200 for a second consecutive year is sponsor Future Electronics. The Montreal, Canada-based company is a world-class leader and innovator in the distribution and marketing of semiconductors and passive, interconnect and electro-mechanical components. They operate in 169 locations in 41 countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

· More than road courses: With proven success on road courses, Marks has worked to develop his oval track skills in recent years. He cut his teeth in the ARCA RE/MAX Series, recording five top-five and 13 top-10 finishes with two pole positions. In 2006, he shattered Ryan Newman’s track record at Kansas Speedway. He made his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) debut in 2007, making 22 starts over the next two years. In 2008, Marks earned his first NCWTS pole award at Texas Motor Speedway.

Equipment Information

The No. 10 Future Electronics team will compete with chassis #034 in this weekend’s Napa Auto Parts 200 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
#034 was last seen on track at Watkins Glen International (August, 2008) where Jacques Villeneuve qualified in the fifth position and was relegated to a 16th-place finish after being involved in an accident on the final lap of the rain-shortened race.
