The Nationwide Series will be at Kansas Speedway this weekend for Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 300.

Sprint Cup Series regular Clint Bowyer, a native of Emporia, Kan., is hoping the homecoming will begin with a trip to victory lane on Saturday. Bowyer has only mine nine Nationwide Series starts up to this point, but those nine starts include two wins, five top-fives, and six top-10s. One of those wins came just a week ago at Dover.

“It’s my home track, and I wanted to race everything there is to race there,” Bowyer said of the decision for him to be in Richard Childress Racing’s No. 29 car ( a ride he has shared this season with Jeff Burton and Stephen Leicht) for the Kansas Nationwide event. - Full Story by Amanda Vincent – Louisville NASCAR Examiner
