Mike Wallace / JD Motorsports Kansas Post Race Report
Press ReleaseMike Wallace was awarded the “Most Improved Driver” award at the KC race. J-D Motorsports should get some kind of award for improvement this year. Mike finished 17th at the KC event in the Village West Discount Liquors #01 Chevy. Johnny Davis said, “This finish is on track with what Mike and our team are trying to accomplish. Our goal is to run consistently in the top 20 and pull-off a few top 15 finishes the remainder of the season.” Mike Wallace added, “This team is working so hard, our new marketing programs have helped us a bit in preparing the Chevys. With Kertus Davis back at the shop getting everything sorted out and well prepared we a slowly picking-up the pace.”
“The team still can’t be too aggressive with the set up and we need to improve our pit stops, but we are building this team around Mike for 2010 and we mean to be on top of our game by season’s end”, chimed-in car owner Lori Davis.
Marketing VP Tony Priscaro sees the improved performance and the professionalism of Mike Wallace as a bonus for every one of our marketing partners. The big-time sponsor still eludes the J-D Motorsports team. This team is probably the best value in motorsports for 2010. The equipment is there, the personnel are in place, the performance is solid, and the opportunities are tremendous.
