Mike Wallace / JD Motorsports Lowe’s Motor Speedway Post Race Report
Press ReleaseMike Wallace in the #01 Sun Drop Chevy was enjoying one of his strongest showing in the Lori Morgan/J-D Motorsports Impala when a broken belt sidelined him at Lowes. Mike was in the top 10 and felt he could remain there. Johnny Davis said, “I was really proud of our effort tonight, we are steadily implementing our plan just trying to get a little better each week.”
“Sun Drop has shown great confidence in our program. We have been able to concentrate on our set-up and Mike is tops in getting the most of what he is given. We had a great run in California and we followed it with a great performance in Charlotte. It has been hard to miss our green Sun Drop machine in the last few races”, continued Davis.
The #01 team will unveil a new primary sponsor and paint scheme at Memphis.
