- Eric McClure started the Dollar General 300 in the 39th position and posted an 18th-place finish, which marks the driver’s career best finish at the 1.5-mile speedway.

Memphis Fast Facts

- The 30-year-old driver will be making his 105th career NASCAR Nationwide Series start and his fourth at Memphis Motorsports Park.

- His first appearance at the ¾ mile track came in 2004 where he started 34th and finished 22nd in a Morgan-McClure Motorsports entry.

- In 2008, the Virginia native posted a 27th-place finish after starting the event in the 38th position.

- In three starts at Memphis Motorsports Park, McClure has completed 99.3% of the total laps and has been running at the conclusion of each event.

- Chassis # 25 will be used this weekend; it was last used at Richmond in September where it scored a 29th-place finish.

“Memphis is one of the best tracks we go to as far as I am concerned. The track is shaped very similar to Richmond and provides good, old-fashioned short track racing. We had a decent car at Richmond this year and I’ve run pretty well in Memphis on a couple of occasions, so I am hopeful we can have a good finish. Historically, there is always a good bit of beating and banging at this event so hopefully the Hefty® Odor Block™ Ford can stay clean and continue to get back in the right direction.”
