BOSWELL (Thought on attempting first NNS race?) – “Racing the No. 5 Chevrolet was something we have been talking about for a while now. We were finally able to make it happen, because we had the resources and people in place at JR Motorsports to attempt this at Memphis. I’m absolutely thrilled at the opportunity.
“It’s definitely a little overwhelming coming in here and racing guys that are the best at what they do, but this is probably the best chance I’m going to get to prove myself. I really just want to come in here, qualify for the race and get a solid finish. I think if we’re able to do that, I will call it a success.”
JRM CO-OWNER, DALE EARNHARDT JR. (On Boswell’s talent) – “Boswell is a tremendous talent, and he has done well with our late model program. He’s been with the company for several years, and we feel like he’s earned this opportunity to race at Memphis. The No. 5 team has tested with him, and he’s a solid short-track racer, so we’re hopeful for positive results at Memphis.”
