· Reutimann Back Behind the Wheel of the No. 10 Beringer Vineyards Toyota at Phoenix
This weekend at Phoenix international Raceway (PIR), David Reutimann returns to the seat of the merlot-colored No. 10 Beringer Vineyards Camry for the final time this season. In next weekend’s season-finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway, he will complete the 2009 season in Braun Racing’s No. 32 entry. In 10 starts for the team so far this year, Reutimann has captured one top-five and five top-10 finishes.
· Reutimann’s Phoenix International Raceway Highlights
In four Nationwide Series starts at PIR, Reutimann has only placed outside of the top-12 on one occasion. His best performance at the one-mile track came in April, 2008 when he finished ninth after starting from the 12th position. In NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competition, Reutimann has two top-10’s in three starts and, on the NASCAR Sprint Cup side, he has one top-10 in four starts.
· Braun Racing to Field Four Entries in 2010
Braun Racing announced this week that it will be expanding to field four NASCAR Nationwide Series entries in 2010. Brian Scott, who has driven a select number of races for the team this season, has been named as driver of the team’s fourth Toyota Camry. Sponsor, car number, as well as crew chief and personnel for Braun Racing’s fourth entry, will be announced in the coming weeks.
Reutimann on racing at Phoenix International Raceway
“I’ve really enjoyed being a part of the Braun Racing family this year. We have had some strong runs over the course of the year and it has been a lot of fun. Beringer Vineyards is a great sponsor to work with and I enjoy representing them both on and off the track. I want to thank Stewart Cooper, and the entire No. 10 team, for all of their hard work and for putting together some awesome race cars this season. Now, all that’s left to do is get the Beringer Camry into victory lane, and I feel like we have a good shot at doing that this weekend.”
