Texas Recap
- Eric McClure started the event in the 33rd position and finished 19th, marking McClure’s career best finish at Texas Motor Speedway.
- With this finish, TRM advanced to the 26th position in NASCAR Owner Standings.
Racing in the Valley of the Sun
- The 30-year-old driver will compete in his 107th career NASCAR Nationwide Series event this weekend and his sixth at the one-mile raceway.
- His best start and finish at PIR was 18th and 22nd respectively (April-2009).
- In five starts, McClure has completed 90.9% of the total laps at PIR and has had only one DNF.
- The Virginia native will be piloting Chassis # 28 in this weekend’s event. It last ran at Bristol Motor Speedway where it scored a 25th-place finish. Its best finish of 23rd occurred at both Gateway and O’Reilly Raceway Park this season.
- Autograph Session to Promote NASCAR Nationwide Series Food Drive: Donation to benefit the Davidson County Food Panty (Lexington, NC)
- McClure, along with other NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers, will be participating in an autograph session benefiting Davidson County Food Panty (Lexington, NC) on Saturday, November 14 from 8:30am – 9:30am in Victory Lane at Phoenix International Raceway.
- Drivers are asking fans to come out and support the cause by donating a non-perishable food item or $5 cash that will be used to purchase the non-perishable food items.
- The food will be delivered to the pantry on Wednesday, November 18.
