Tickets For 2010 NAPA Auto Parts 200 Presented by Dodge On Sale Monday

“We are establishing a solid tradition of NASCAR racing in Montreal,” said François Dumontier, President of Octane Management and delegated promoter of the event. “It took only three years for Montreal to become one of the favourite stops for NASCAR enthusiasts, and it also seems that winning the Montreal Nationwide race has been added to many of the NASCAR superstars agendas. We believe that our race has become an event that fans want to experience live at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.”
Adding to the promoter’s comments, some very interesting facts occurred on this road course; 24 lead changes, several unexpected turnarounds, and outstanding feats from great champions. In addition, each of the three Nationwide races has so far featured Canadian drivers finishing in the top three. The short history of this event shows Kevin Harvick, Ron Fellows and Carl Edwards as race winners, Patrick Carpentier with two back-to-back second-place finishes, and impressive feats from Quebec-born drivers Andrew Ranger, Jacques Villeneuve, and Jean-François Dumoulin.
“Believe us when we say that next year’s event will offer more of the same intense rivalry,” continued François Dumontier. “The success of the last event and the exciting on-track competition between the drivers explains our strong desire to offer our supporters the possibility to experience something really special. Event organizers also mentioned today that those who want to make sure that tickets for the 2010 Montreal NAPA Auto Parts 200, Presented by Dodge make their way under this year’s Christmas tree, must order them before Monday, December 6, 2009.
