King’s Cup Karting for a Cause Reminder

The King’ Richard Petty, Reed Sorenson, A.J. Allmendinger and other members of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will be participating in the inaugural King’s Cup Karting for a Cause fundraiser to benefit the Paralyzed Veterans of America. The event will take place on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at The Pit Indoor Kart Racing facility at 346 East Plaza Drive Mooresville, N.C. 28115.

Event will consist of a four-hour endurance karting event, a silent auction, an autograph session for VIP ticket holders and live entertainment. NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers Denny Hamlin, Kurt Busch, Sorenson and Allmendinger will be participating in the endurance race. Miss Sprint Cup will be on hand throughout the event and at the Victory Lane celebration.

All proceeds will go to the Paralyzed Veterans of America as they continue to enrich the lives of those that sacrifice for our freedom. The event is open to the public. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online by visiting www.pva.org/gokart.
