Brett Butler Returns to the Familiar Myrtle Beach Speedway

ATLANTA, GA (JUNE 16, 2009): This Saturday, Brett Butler returns to a familiar track with the USAR Pro Cup series. On June 20th Butler will start in the fifth race of the USAR Pro Cup season for the Grand Strand 250 presented by Black’s Tire Service at Myrtle Beach Speedway.
Starting the last two races at new tracks for the LoanMax driver has been a learning experience for Butler. Running strong in the No. 1 Chevrolet, Butler just has not been able to get the finishes he is capable of getting. The LoanMax crew has been striving for their first top ten of the 2009 season.
The last few races have been close top ten’s for the No. 1 LoanMax Chevrolet driver, finishing 13th and 11th at Langley Speedway and Winchester Speedway respectively. The LoanMax team is eager to get their first top ten of the season and with Brett returning to a track he knows really well all this is a great possibility this weekend.
“I am looking forward to getting back to a familiar track,” said Butler. “I really like racing at Myrtle Beach Speedway; it’s a fun racetrack. The LoanMax team has been looking for a top ten all season, and I think this might be the track where we can get it.”
Brett Butler currently sits 13th in the USAR Pro Cup championship points only 165 points behind leader Clay Rogers and only two points behind 12th place.
