“Brett and the LoanMax Team Expect a Better Outcome This Weekend”

ATLANTA, GA (JULY 23, 2009) Brett Butler will head straight back to the tracks this weekend in the No.1 LoanMax Chevrolet. The USAR Pro Cup is traveling to Newton, NC this Saturday, July 25th for the Hickory 250 at Hickory Motor Speedway for the eighth scheduled race of the 2009 season.

Hickory Motor Speedway is a track with a lot of history. It is recognized as the “Birthplace of the NASCAR Stars.” It is also the oldest continually operated speedway in the country. Many well known drivers today have completed many laps at this track. A number of drivers coming to compete this weekend hopes to be one of those future “NASCAR Stars.”

Hickory Motor Speedway is definitely a race track that Brett is familiar with racing there with the USAR Pro Cup in previous years. He has some decently strong qualifying runs and finishes at this speedway and he expects to perform even better this weekend at the historic track.

After having a disappointing weekend at Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, VA last week, Butler is ready to get his car up in the front at the .363 mile asphalt short-track and stay there.

“Our team has been working really hard to get this car to run well,” said Butler. “Last weekend was disappointing for all of us, because we’re capable of getting top ten finishes each week. It is just really vital that we stay out of trouble and continue moving up in the pack.”

Brett Butler is currently in 13th place in the USAR Pro Cup championship points at 303 points behind leader Clay Rogers and only 4 points behind 12th place.

All 2009 USARacing Pro Cup races are scheduled to replay each Sunday at 11:00 AM EST on FSN. This Sunday, the Lucas Oil 200 at Winchester Speedway from June 6, 2009 will be airing on FSN. The Hickory 250 is scheduled to air August 23rd.
