“The LoanMax Team Ready for South Boston Speedway”

ATLANTA, GA (August 5, 2009) With only two races remaining in the regular USAR Pro Cup Series regular season, Brett Butler strives to move up into the top ten in the championship points prior to the start of the championship series. Brett will bring the No. 1 LoanMax Chevrolet to South Boston Speedway this weekend for the South Boston 250. This marks as the ninth race of the USAR Pro Cup 2009 season.

Returning to South Boston for the third time, Butler hopes this time around will bring much better results. A year ago when the series visited South Boston an early race accident ended the day quickly for Brett.

This time at the 4/10 mile speedway things certainly need to end differently in order for the LoanMax driver to reach the top ten before the championship series begins.

“I am excited to return to South Boston this weekend,” said Butler. “The last race here didn’t quite go the way we had planned and we were out of the race early. I am confident that the LoanMax team will be able to get the car running strong and hopefully we will be up front most of the night.”

Brett is currently in 11th place in the championship points for the USAR Pro Cup series. He is only 66 points behind 10th place driver Jeff Agnew.

“I would really like to get a top ten finish at South Boston this weekend, said Butler. ”This would really help us get closer to that top ten position in the championship points and hopefully gain a few spots before the Championship series begins.”
