It’s looking like famed female driver Danica Patrick isn’t going to make a move to NASCAR despite talking to a few teams this summer, according to the Indianapolis Star. Patrick supposedly went down to North Carolina this summer and spent time visiting with a bunch of different NASCAR teams and considering the big move since her current IndyCar contract runs out at the end of this season.

Michael Andretti is reportedly planning to keep four cars on the team next season is close to signing a new deal with Patrick. “Getting close,” he told the paper. “They want it and we want it.”

The announcement may come early next week, but any way you slice it, the announcement is sure to come.
