DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Oct. 26, 2009) – This is the last week for fans to vote for their favorites for 2009 Most Popular Driver in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The deadline for on-line voting on NASCAR.com www.nascar.com is Saturday, Oct. 31.

Voting has already been completed in five of the NASCAR’s six touring series. Fans can vote for their favorite driver once per day until the voting ends. Thus far, more than 125,000 total votes have been cast among all eight series.

Additionally, www.nascarhometracks.com is the site to cast votes for the NASCAR Mexico Series drivers. Voting remains open until Nov. 22 for drivers in that series.

This year, fans also may “write in” their favorite driver if he/she is not among the nominees for a specific series. Fans should go to fanfeedback@nascar.com and submit their write-in vote.

Many track and team/driver web sites also carry links for fans to vote. Numerous drivers also have voting links available via their Facebook pages and Twitter accounts.

Results of the balloting will be announced at each of the respective series banquets at the end of the season.
