Well, Poc Oh NO is over and thank the good Lord. That skinny boy Joe Gibbs is running won that ARCA race and congratulations to him! He is amazin’ isn’t he? I think this young ‘un is goin’ to give that bad boy Busch a run for the money, literally. Of course that will keep the money in the same camp, but, frankly I can’t wait to see some Busch whippin’ from that skinny boy. In all fairness to him, his name is Joey. Joey Logano and that kid could teach that Kyle a thing or two or a lot! I wasn’t goin’ to talk about that bad boy right off the bat, but since it came up, SHAME on you, shrub or stump or whatever they call you. I call you rude, destroyin’ that guitar at Nashville like you did. You won the race, true enough, but you’re no rock star mister and those guitars are famous. Every driver wants one of those Gibson guitars and without much thought, or any at all obviously, you destroyed somethin’ special. Instead of appearin’ to cherish the moment and the win, in a reckless action you ignored tradition and Sam’s hard work. You’re a brat, plain and simple. You’re brother has settled down a bit since his smart aleck days in Phoenix a few years ago. Remember that? Perhaps you should learn from your brother’s “errors in judgement”. You better straighten up and fly right boy, because everyone is replaceable, or so Big Bill said years ago and that man was the law. Anyway, Joey, I just think you are a very nice young man, cute as a kitten and with tons of talent, and honey, you just go out there and do what comes naturally. By the way I love your commercials, especially that Lowe’s or Home Depot man helpin’ you – all those big time fangled hardware stores are the same to me, not like back when Elmer and I first got married, he used to work at one of those mom ‘n pop hardware stores, but that’s neither here nor there. Anyway I can’t wait to get a look at some Busch booty spankin’, Joey style.

Now for Tony. Well, Tony honey, you did it! You showed everyone you’ve still got it and, darlin’ you own it too! Can it get any better than that? Well of course it can! You just keep winnin’. And you will, you know you will. I am so proud of you. You looked so handsome in Victory Lane huggin’ your dad and smilin’ so big. I do love a man that shows his daddy affection and respect! That does my heart good. My late husband Elmer, always showed his daddy respect even when he beat Elmer time and time again at arm wrestlin’, but, that’s neither here nor there. Now, you just get out there and keep doin’ what your doin’ and if that 18 car gets close enough give him a little tap for ol’ granny, ya hear? Thank ya honey.

That leaves Jr. I know it is disappointin’ Dale, to finish in the 27 spot, but sugar, you had some excitin’ moments during that race. Just give Lance some time and you all will figure things out. My daddy used to say all things worth havin’ are worth waitin’ on. I know. You’ve been waitin’ long enough, but, it’s comin’, honey. It’s comin’ and when it does the party will be goin’ on all over the country for days, mark my words. Speakin’ of Lance, that’s a nice lookin’ man. I do love a man with a nice dimple, of sorts, in his chin. Gives the man a distinguished look. My late husband Elmer had a dimple, of sorts, in his chin, but, that’s neither here nor there. Just have a little more patience Dale, darlin’. I’ve already got a celebration planned at the bingo parlor ready at a moments notice. We are goin’ to party hardy, hon. I had bingo cards made up with 9 cards per sheet! 9, can you believe that, but, that’s neither here nor there. Just know a bunch of us here are rootin’ for ya, honey.

And lastly I want to thank all of my readers that took the time to write. Mavis, I appreciate your comments but, I do not want to air our personal laundry here. How many times do I have to tell you that this space is meant for my readers? I think you need some help, girl. I mean, I’m up here and you’re, well, not. We’ll talk more Thursday at the meat market. And as for Clifford, you need to pay more attention to your poor ol’ dog and less about what those ol’ fools at the barber shop are sayin’. Think, Clifford, for Pete’s sake think. Ya know what I mean?
