Ragan on racing at Daytona International Speedway:
“I’m looking forward to going to a track where we’ve had success at already this year. Daytona is a track we’ve had success at in the past and having run well there in February we’ve got notes we can look at and use for this weekend. I enjoy night racing and this one is always fun since it’s over the holiday weekend. I’m looking forward to having good runs in both cars this weekend.”
Crew chief Jimmy Fennig on racing at Daytona International Speedway:
“It’s good to be going to a track where we’ve got some confidence at. David ran well at Daytona at the beginning of the year and we’re taking the same car we had a top-15 finish with at Talladega. We need a fast car and some luck to be there at the end and get a good finish for UPS.”

• UPS Maximum Center Recognition—Daytona International Speedway
The Tampa Bayside Center (SLIC 3363) in the Central Florida District was selected for the July 4 Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway. The Tampa Bayside Center was selected as a result of its outstanding performance on the district’s Balanced Scorecard. The center ranks as a top five center in the district during any given month. Most recently, May Balanced Scorecard results ranked the center as the best extended center. Its success is a direct result of good supervisors, training, processes, and accountability. As one of the largest centers in the district and one that is getting ready to add an additional six drivers from another center, the team has to drive Balanced Scorecard elements daily to stay on top.
