NASCAR Sprint Cup Drivers, Downunder Horsemanship’s Clinton Anderson to Headline First Annual Greg Biffle Foundation Day
Press Release
The event, designed for race fans and animal lovers alike, will feature autograph sessions by NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers pictured in the 2010 NASCAR Pets Calendar, informational sessions with Downunder Horsemanship host Clinton Anderson, entertainment from the NC Agility Dogs, booths hosted by local pet care vendors, 3M product giveaways, live musical entertainment and much more!
“We see this event as a way to promote the work our Foundation is doing for animals, while providing fun and entertainment at the same time,” said NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Greg Biffle of the #16 3M Ford Fusion. “Our new 2010 NASCAR Pets Calendars will be on sale, and a number of the drivers who appear in the calendar will be on-hand to autograph them,” Biffle continued.
There is no charge for admission, however a pet food drive is being held to supply local shelters and rescue groups with much needed
supplies. Everyone is encouraged to bring a pet food donation, and the first 500 to do so will receive a Greg Biffle Foundation car decal.
The Greg Biffle Foundation was founded in 2005 by Greg and Nicole Biffle to create awareness and serve as an advocate to improve the well-being of animals by engaging the power and passion of the motor sports industry. In 2008 the Foundation awarded grant funding to 112 shelters and rescue groups nationwide for programs like spaying and neutering, adoption and general operating expenses.
