Award-Winning Writer Rick Minter Moves into Co-Host Role

TAYLORS, SC (August 27, 2009) – The special guests on this week’s edition of Race 2 Win Radio know a little something about popular driving. Kenny Wallace, three-time Nationwide Series Most Popular Driver, and Chase Elliott, son of 16-time Cup Series Most Popular Driver Bill Elliott, will join Jeff Holtzclaw and crew on the Thursday, August 27th episode, which will broadcast live from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm ET at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/race2win.

Kenny Wallace, driver of the No. 28 Thank You Fans Chevrolet and co-host of NASCAR RaceDay and NASCAR Victory Lane on SPEED, will stop by the show to discuss his “sponsor” for this weekend’s race in Montreal. Wallace’s car will carry the names of more than 5,000 race fans who paid $20 each to support Wallace for this week’s race north of the border.

Chase Elliott, driver of the No. 9 Aarons Dream Machine Ford in the Georgia Asphalt Series, will call in to talk about his taking the lead atop the GAS point standings. Elliott will also discuss what it was like to race with Kyle Busch last weekend at the Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville, where he finished eighth in his CRA Super Series debut.

Award-winning journalist Rick Minter, senior writer for RacinToday.com and former motorsports writer for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, will move from the “Writer’s Block” to the co-host’s chair for this week’s episode, filling in for Blake Feese.

Kenny Bruce, assistant managing editor of NASCAR Scene and www.scenedaily.com, is back to take his turn on the “Writer’s Block,” a weekly segment he shares with Minter, in which two of the top writers in the sport discuss the biggest stories in and around NASCAR.

Mike Calinoff, spotter for Matt Kenseth and Chief Executive Officer of Activ8 Communications (www.goactiv8.com), will check in with his “Keys to Winning” segment for this weekend’s races and share his insight on how the No. 17 team plans to attack the final two races before the Chase for the Championship kicks off in Loudon.
