This weekend’s Pep Boys 500 Sprint Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway marks the next-to-last race before the cutoff for 2009′s Chase for the Sprint Cup. Several drivers find themselves either on the outside with a shot of still getting in during the next two races or in the top-12 for right now but not really safe from falling out before the conclusion of next weekend’s race at Richmond.

One driver who is definitely in one of the hottest seats is former series champion Matt Kenseth. He sits in 12th heading into Atlanta, so there’s really no room for error in the next two races.
