JOEY LOGANO IN THE No. 20 THE HOME DEPOT TOYOTA WAS THE TOP RAYBESTOS ROOKIE IN QUALIFYING AT DOVER. “I’ll take that. Compared to the last three or four weeks that’s night and day better for a qualifying effort. I’ll take that. The track changed a little bit from what we expected. I felt like I was pretty loose. This place will take your breath away in a heartbeat [smiles]. It was a little too loose probably the first half of the corner, second half I felt like I was okay which that’s the part that you’re going to want to be better anyway. Just not real secure back to throttle. We thought we made a pretty long run earlier in practice and the time stayed up there pretty good. So far everything is on track.”

QUALIFYING IS CHALLENGING IN THIS SERIES AT EVERY TRACK. “It’s challenging no matter what. Some will just take your breath away more than others do. After every mock run I made I was like, whoo, and I made two laps this time. I can’t hold my breath long enough [laughs].”
