Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion, has finished third or better – including a win in 2007 – in four of his last five starts at Kansas Speedway, site of this weekend’s Cup race. Biffle currently is ninth in the Chase standings with eight races remaining.
GREG BIFFLE – No. 16 3M Ford Fusion –
IN FOUR OF THE LAST FIVE RACES, YOU’VE FINISHED IN THE TOP THREE AT KANSAS. WHY DOES THAT RACE TRACK SEEM TO SUIT YOUR STYLE SO WELL? IS THERE ANY REASON TO BELIEVE YOU CAN’T EQUAL OR BETTER YOUR RECORD THERE THIS WEEK?
“It’s just a good race track for us, just like [Dover]. I think my last three finishes at Dover are a third, a third and a win. It’s just a good track for us. [Dover], Kansas, California are our best race tracks coming up in the Chase, and we’re really anxious for that. Why we run so good at Kansas, why we’re so competitive there – I really can’t answer that. You know, there are some race tracks that suit our cars and maybe my driving style, or whatnot, a little bit better than others. And, I’m glad they’re kind of stacked up in the Chase a little bit, and we’re in it. That’s a positive for us.”- PCGCampbell for Ford Racing, Press Release
