Greg Biffle, 2009 Pepsi 500 NSCS Race Preview
Press Release3M team is at the top of their game and we should have had the win last weekend at Kansas. I made a decision to put on four tires at the end and it didn’t work out for us. I guess the way I’m looking at this
weekend is that I owe these guys one, so I’m going to do everything I can to get the 16 car into victory lane.”
Erwin on California: “This track has been pretty good for Greg so that’s always encouraging. We’ll be racing the same tire we ran at Kansas last weekend so we’re looking forward to racing with it again
this weekend. Weather may play a factor because it will be a day race this fall rather than a night race like we’ve had there in the fall in the past. The pit crew won the pit crew award again last week and they are performing every week at highest level. We’ll get the 3M Ford into victory lane before the end of this season.”
Notes:
- Following a third-place finish in Kansas, Biffle moved up one position to eighth in the point standings.
