McDowell on racing at Martinsville Speedway: “Martinsville is a pretty fun little track. When you get your car handling well, the laps can just fly by—but by the same token, if you’re a little bit off then you’re asking when you can pit next the whole day. I had a pretty good run here last year, so hopefully my memory will serve me well during practice. We’re going to be focused pretty hard on getting in the show on Friday. I know that Tommy and the guys have a really good car prepared for this one, so it’s up to me to do my part when it comes time to qualify.”

Tommy Baldwin on racing at Martinsville Speedway: “It’s been nice just having the time to get what we need to get done completed and that comes from being home-based here the last two weeks. It lets the guys recharge a little bit and we can spend extra time on the little details that make the difference once we get to the track. Michael’s raced here before in two series, so he knows how to get around this place. We just have to have 100% concentration on our performance Friday and get this Wave Energy Drink car in the show for Sunday.”
