Joe Gibbs Racing Teammates Promote New Video Game, Texas NASCAR Race

Huntersville, N.C. (Oct. 23, 2009) – On Monday, Oct. 26, the worlds of NASCAR and World Wrestling Entertainment® will collide at 9:00 PM ET on USA Network as NASCAR drivers Joey Logano and Kyle Busch appear as guest hosts of WWE Monday Night Raw, the most-watched regularly scheduled program on ad supported cable television..

Logano and Busch will appear on the program to promote the upcoming O’Reilly Challenge NASCAR Nationwide Series race at the Texas Motor Speedway on Nov. 7 – a race during which each driver will helm cars featuring paint schemes from the WWE SmackDown® vs. Raw® 2010 (THQ, ESRB: T) video game. The video game tie-in is nothing new for Logano, as his No. 20 Toyota is sponsored by GameStop, the world’s largest video game and entertainment software retailer.

Operating much like a tag team in professional wrestling, the Joe Gibbs Racing combination of Logano/Busch has been taking turns visiting Victory Lane this season.

Together they have won 12 races and demonstrated that they are the team to beat in the Nationwide Series. Busch, driver of the No. 18 Z-Line Designs Toyota, currently leads the Nationwide series standings and has notched seven series wins thus far this season; Logano has five wins in 18 starts.
