Richardson on racing at Talladega Superspeedway: “I’m really excited to get this opportunity to run in the Tommy Baldwin Racing Toyota this weekend. We’ve got Mahindra Tractors and Wave Energy Drink on board with us and we’re hoping to give them a great run on Sunday. I’ve been fortunate to have run fairly decent here in the past, so I’m hoping that stat won’t change. It’s a big step up to get into the Sprint Cup Series and make a go of it. I’m planning on doing my level-headed best to stay out of trouble and bring this car home in one piece.”
Tommy Baldwin on racing at Talladega Superspeedway: “I’m glad we got hooked up with Robert [Richardson] for this deal here at Talladega. This is an opportunity for us to run the entire event and see what we can make of it along the way. Robert has a good little record here at this place—he knows how to get around here. Staying out of trouble is another deal altogether—but it’s the same for the other 42 guys out there on Sunday, too. I’m hoping we’ll be able to give Mahindra Tractors and Wave Energy Drink a good run and a good, solid weekend.”
