Richard Petty Driving Experience and Daytona International Speedway to Extend Exclusive Partnership
Press Release
This status, which RPDE has held since 1997, will continue through 2012.
“We’re proud that DAYTONA has, again, selected us to be its exclusive partner,” said Brian Flynn, CEO of RPDE. “Since we were first given the opportunity to prove our model would work there, DIS has been the premier offering in our system. The feedback we receive from our customers after a DAYTONA experience is like nowhere else we go.”
“We’re thrilled to be able to continue our relationship with RPDE,” Daytona International Speedway President Robin Braig said. “Daytona International Speedway is NASCAR’s hallowed ground and RPDE gives race fans the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the thrills and sensations of the legendary 2.5-mile tri-oval and its daunting 31-degree high banks.”
RPDE offers a variety of experiences at DIS, some of which enable drivers to challenge the track’s legendary high banks at speeds of up to 160mph. Ride-along’s with RPDE’s professional instructors can top 170mph.
DAYTONA driving experiences and ride-a-longs are offered throughout the year. Available dates and times can be found at www.1800bepetty.com or by calling 1-800-BEPETTY (1-800-237-3889)
