Wave Energy Drink Team Nails Down Best Finish of the Year at Talladega
Press Release
“That was really a lot of fun,” said the 26-year old Richardson. “We did our best today to keep our nose clean and stay out of trouble and it paid off. Talladega is a tough place to race and you have to be prepared for anything to happen at any moment, but this place has also been pretty good to me with the finishes we have. I’d like to thank Mahindra Tractors and Wave Energy Drink for coming on board—and especially Tommy Baldwin Racing for giving me this opportunity,” he added.
Jamie McMurray won the Amp Energy 500 on Sunday, followed to the line by Kasey Kahne, Joey Logano, Greg Biffle and Jeff Burton rounded out the top-five finishers on the day. Next week, the No. 36 Wave Energy Drink Toyota Team and the NASCAR circuit head to Texas Motor Speedway in Ft. Worth, TX for the running of the Dickies 500. Coverage begins at 2:30 p.m. EST next Sunday on the ABC Network.
