NEW AND NOTES FROM THE WIX FILTERS LAP LEADER PROGRAM – NASCAR SPRINT CUP SERIES

· Tony Stewart leads Kyle Busch by one race (7-6) in the overall WIX Filters Lap Leader standings entering the November 8 Dickies 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.

· DID YOU KNOW? The driver leading the most laps has won the last THREE CONSECUTIVE races at Texas.

· DID YOU KNOW? A different driver has led the most laps in each of the four previous fall races at Texas.

· The most laps led in the fall race at Texas (and the record for most laps led in a 500-mile race at the 1.5-mile speedway) are 278 by Tony Stewart in the 2006 Dickies 500.

· TWO drivers in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup have led the most laps in the fall race at Texas: Stewart and Carl Edwards (2008).

· FIVE drivers in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup have led the most laps in 17 previous NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Texas: Kasey Kahne (2004 spring), Greg Biffle (2005 spring), Tony Stewart (2006 spring and 2006 fall), Jeff Gordon (2009 spring and 2007 spring) and Carl Edwards (2008 spring and 2008 fall).

· The driver leading the most laps in the fall race at Texas has won TWICE and finished no worse than fourth-place.
