Biffle on Phoenix: “Phoenix is definitely one of my favorite tracks. We’ve been spending this week going over all of our notes from the spring race there to try to make sure we don’t miss anything for this weekend. I really don’t want to finish this season without a win. We have a great team and a very talented pit crew and we’re learning more about these cars every week. We have a lot of work ahead of us in the off season to try to catch up with some of the other organizations but we’re definitely gaining ground.”

Erwin on Phoenix: “We’re taking the car that we’ve started calling our ‘concrete car’ to Phoenix this weekend. We’ve finished in the top 10 with it every time we’ve run it this year other than when we had an engine failure at the first Bristol race. Phoenix is a track that Biffle really likes and he runs well there. Tire management and track position will be extremely important this weekend. We have a very talented pit crew on our side and if they can keep it up and continue gaining positions in the pits, that will help with the track position too. We are doing everything we can to get a win before
the end of the season.”

Notes:

. Following an eighth-place finish in Texas, Biffle remains seventh in the point standings.

. Biffle ran in the top 10 for the majority of the spring race at Phoenix and was able to pick up four positions after the final restart with six laps remaining for a top-five finish.

. Biffle has an average finish of 14.9 at Phoenix with three top-five finishes and four top-10 finish in 11 starts.

. This weekend the 3M Nexcare brand will be featured as an associate on the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion.
