McDowell on racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway: “Well, we’ve got one more to go and we want to finish off this year in as strong a fashion as we can.  We’ve done very well with qualifying the past four weeks in a row and we really need to be in the field for the finale, as well.  I like Homestead because it has a lot of grip since they changed the banking around the track.  It’s a lot of fun to drive this place all day long.  As this season comes to a close, I have to say that I’ve really enjoyed getting the opportunity to drive for Tommy Baldwin Racing and sponsor, Wave Energy Drink.  They’ve been fantastic partners and I hope that we’re all able to keep this momentum going into next season.”

Tommy Baldwin on racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway: “I can’t believe that this is the final event for our guys.  Looking back, we’ve overcome so much just getting everything together and becoming a weekly player in this series.  It wasn’t easy and we’ve had a few bumps along the way, but that being said, we’ve really accomplished something this season.  What looked impossible at times, we’ve turned into the possible.  I realize that we still have a very long way to go, but getting established this year with my own team and making it to the track every week is saying something.  We all have our eye on the future, but let me say one last time how proud I am as an owner for the group of guys that we have and the partners that have all helped us make this dream a reality for me.  This year was all about building a foundation, but next year will be about moving forward and capitalizing on our success.”
