Wave Energy Drink Inks 2010 Sponsorshiop Deal
Press ReleaseAgreement Continues Relationship with Tommy Baldwin Racing

Wave Energy Drink entered the world of NASCAR sponsorship in August, 2009, initially signing a six-race agreement with Tommy Baldwin Racing’s No. 36 Toyota Camry team. The response to their effort was so overwhelmingly positive that the company quickly drafted an amended agreement to sponsor the team through the remainder of the 2009 racing season.
Now, as the 2009 season comes to a close, company executives at Wave Energy Drink are determined to keep the proverbial “pedal to the metal.” In addition to the season-opening “Great American Race”, Wave Energy Drink will appear as the primary sponsor at the following 2010 events: Atlanta (3/7), Texas (4/18), Richmond (5/1), Charlotte (5/22 & 5/30), Michigan (6/13), Daytona (7/3), Watkins Glen (8/8), Atlanta (9/5), Dover (9/26), Kansas (10/3), California (10/10), Texas (11/7) and Miami (11/21).
“This may have been a down year for the economy, but as a company, Wave Energy Drink excelled with the unparalleled exposure we received through our NASCAR sponsorship program,” said Jason Wolter, Vice-President of Marketing. “We made no secret of using our targeted NASCAR sponsorship to drive interest in our Wave Energy Drink franchising program. Any time we were featured on television or during interviews, our phone lines, emails and texts lit up like a Christmas tree. Because of the exposure we received, we’re currently closing on dozens of franchise and distribution deals both in the United States and Latin America. Tommy Baldwin is an outstanding team owner, businessman and has mentored us throughout the racing and sponsorship process. His help has been invaluable in growing our company and it is our hope that we will be able to support his race team to the same level of success he’s been able to give us,” he added.
Team Owner Tommy Baldwin echoed Wave’s sentiments. “The foundation has been laid down this year and it’s a matter of growing this program further as we move forward together. When Wave Energy Drink came on board, it changed the dynamic of our program. It now looks as if we’ll have better and expanded resources available to us next year than we’ve ever had before-with Wave Energy Drink’s continued involvement, there’s going to be some real improvement,” he added.
